Test and Tagging Services

Test and Tag Services Ltd has the latest equipment and competent technical staff to make your premises safe and compliant.
Testing
The following inspection and tests will be carried out on all your portable appliances to determine if they comply with the appropriate safety standard.
- External inspection of equipment and the supply cord.
- Insulation Tests
- Protective Earth Continuity Tests
- Earth Leakage Tests
- Polarity Tests
- RCDs will be tested to ensure the tripping time does not exceed the values, all in accordance with AS/NZS3760.
Tagging
On completion of the testing, all assets are tagged using bar coded, durable, non-metallic and non-reusable tags. Information on the tags will include:
- Name of the Company
- Date test was done
- Retest date
- Reference to Standard: AS/NZS3760
Documentation
We will provide an Asset Register, Reports and Test Certificates for all the tested appliances, listing the following information:
- Description
- Location
- Test Result
- (Pass/Fail)
- Retest Date
All the above information will be made available in both electronic and print format and will be stored in our data base for 7 years.
